A 40 gram weight reduction and improved ergonomics are instantly recognisable which means you can spend more time on the water fishing and less time at the physio. A new white and silver paint job also adds a touch of sophistication which has long been synonymous with Shimano products.
Frame and sideplates are constructed from Aluminium while the spool has been meticulously crafted out of ultra lightweight A7075 Aluminium Magnumlite alloy. Each model features the best gearing of any low-profile reel on the market with Shimano’s High Efficiency Gearing technology featuring a hard-wearing Brass drive-train.
There are 3 models in the range – CH100D5, CH100D7 and CH101D7. Each feature 6+1 S-ARB bearings, Dartainium drag, Super Stopper Anti-Reverse, Variable Brake System (VBS), Quickfire II and an array of other technologies exclusive to Shimano.
